About Us
This dashboard was developed to share information about ongoing, completed, and future projects within the Variant Effects Program at the Brotman Baty Institute for Precision Medicine.

The Brotman Baty Institute's Variant Effects Program aims to use Multiplexed Assays of Variant Effect (MAVEs) to analyze, measure and model the functional consequences of genetic variants at scale. Learn more about the Variant Effects Program here.

The Chan Zuckerberg Initiative (CZI) has awarded the Brotman Baty Institute $4.5 million to advance its work on genetic variants, including partnering with patient organizations within CZI’s “Rare As One” Project. Patient advocacy groups partnering with the BBI can find updates on their projects in the CZI RAO Partnerships and Projects sections of this dashboard. Learn more about CZI's Rare As One Project here.

We'd love to explore a partnership focused on your top-priority genes! Reach out to us at info@brotmanbaty.org for more information.
